Facilities
The Southeast School Library Media Center is located in the center of the school. In addition to books, it includes magazines, videos, and audiobooks. There is an adjacent conference room for meetings and the computer lab is attached. Fifteen ibooks and 30 HP laptops are available for check out for classroom use. Our building is wired for cable through a video distribution system. A video tape or DVD may be played in the media center and then seen on any TV in the classrooms. Cable is only available through this system. To request a channel, the media center sets the channel on this system.

Conduct in the Library
Two classes can be take place in the library and several small groups can work independently. We ask the students to use a Level 1 (silent) or Level 2 (whisper) voice when in the library.
Checkout
Students may check out books any time from 7:40-3:30 or during scheduled class check out times.
Kindergarten - 1 book, then 2 books by January
1st-2nd - 2 books
3rd - 3 books
4th - 4 books
5th - 5 books
Overdues
Overdues
Overdue reminders are printed once a month. The first reminder is a notice. The second reminder will ask the student to pay for the replacement of the lost book. The third reminder will be the bill and followed up with a phone call home.
